Mottled Duck Rome Zoo Tarsus Band
This is a Mottled Duck (Florida Mallard) tarsus band from the Rome Zoo. It it white with black coding 004 on two sides and the lettering says BIOPARCO ROMA. You will not see only of these on your buddies lanyards.

Mallard Matched Set
A Matching Set of Mallard Bands. Both bands new, federal band is a Vintage 577 series band from the 1950's that was never used and a white and black tarsus band, double wrap style and unglued. Musk Duck Collar and Legband
This Set is a very odd one. The size 8 goose band is shown only for scale and not included. The collar is narrow and quite large in diameter, larger than any goose collars I have seen and only slightly smaller than a swan collar. The tarsus band is also short also but the diameter is as large as a ross goose collar. This is the only set like this I have ever seen, if anyone is familar with this species of duck please let me know, I'd like to know more about them.

Mallard Rubber Nasal Saddle
This type of Duck Nasal Saddle has been used for many years but is generally temporary, a biologist will attach them for the breeding season and try to re-trap the bird. Of course some get away and get shot come fall, like the owner of this one. Some waterfowlers are of the opinion that this style nasal marker decreases survival and so they are not currently in fashion. That makes the likelihood of harvesting one like this real slim

Plastic Hen Mallard Nasal Markers
These nasal markers fit together with a small metal pin between the two pieces, they come in several shapes and colors so that each individual could be identified. I have several colors and shapes not pictured. These are used items that were removed after a breeding season study. The wires that held them together were clipped but these would be easy to re-attach a great addition to a mounted hen. Would go well with a transmitter being that they are often used in conjunction with one another..........30.00 pair
